Terms of Service & Code of Ethics

The Supply Chain Finance Association regards member privacy very highly and wants all members to understand how and why their data is used. The Supply Chain Finance Association also holds its members to a code of ethics to help maintain the reputation of the Association and its members.

 

Collection of Personal Information

The Supply Chain Finance Association only asks for personal data that is essential to our service, essential to protect our rights, or essential to comply with the law. The Supply Chain Finance Association only stores data that is required by law or is needed for the continued operation of the Supply Chain Finance Association.

 

Similar to most websites, the Supply Chain Finance Association collects and stores information such as referring sites, dates and times of visitors, IP addresses and language preferences. The reason this data is stored is to better understand our visitors for reporting and website design purposes. This data will not be disclosed outside of our company, except in situations of legal necessity or reporting non-identifying data to a third party client.

 

Some visitors of the Supply Chain Finance Association choose to input personally-identifying information, such as (but not limited to) emails, phone numbers, and addresses. If you have registered with the Supply Chain Finance Association we may use your contact information to send you updates, ask for feedback, or keep you up to date on specials and deals. If you send the Supply Chain Finance Association a support request, we reserve the right to publish it to assist other users with similar issues. If you publish content on members only sections of our site we reserve the right to republish the content to our public site.  The Supply Chain Finance Association takes security seriously and takes necessary steps to reasonably protect against unauthorized access to your data.

 

Termination of Service

The Supply Chain Finance Association reserves the right to refuse or revoke access to our services if a member violates our code of ethics.

 

Confidential Information

You may receive Confidential Information (defined below) belonging to the Supply Chain Finance Association or other third parties when you use our site or service. Upon registration you agree not to disclose that information to anyone and will only use the information to interact with the Supply Chain Finance Association or unless otherwise specified.“Confidential Information” covers any information that isn’t public, or would be understood by any reasonable practice as confidential. If the law requires you to disclose this information, you may do so only to the extent necessary. After disclosing such information, inform the Supply Chain Finance Association as soon as possible, so that we can protect our interests.

Supply Chain Finance Association Code of Ethics

Members of the Supply Chain Finance Association are expected to hold themselves to high standards as a business. Maintaining industry standards and reputation is a part of the Association’s goal. Our code of ethics will be evolving and growing as we more clearly define the standard we wish to hold. The Association only wants to uphold reputation and does not want to intrude upon or slow the progress of any member’s business.

Members will uphold the law and aspire to a high level of ethical business practice.

Members will treat all confidential information with the highest regard to safety and privacy.

Members will not engage in activities that show clear conflict of interest.

Changes to TOS & Code of Ethics

The Supply Chain Finance Association may change its terms of service or code of ethics at our own discretion. As this is the case, we ask that members check this page for changes as these members continue to use our services. Your use of the Supply Chain Finance Association’s site, or services, after changes to our terms of service or code of ethics, constitutes your acceptance of these changes.
